When to use it

Use this tool when the question requires multivariate structure, segmentation, simulation, causal-design assumptions, or model explainability.
Use it only when the selected variables and study design match the method's requirements.

How to use it

  1. Open the tool from the Qantly Tools panel.
  2. Confirm the active dataset and analysis session.
  3. Set Evaluation Mode (Required): Choose whether the predictor is a binary test result or a continuous diagnostic score.
  4. Set Binary Test Column (Optional): Binary test-result column used in binary-test mode.
  5. Set Test Positive Label (Optional): Value in the binary test column that means the test is positive.
  6. Set Continuous Score Column (Optional): Continuous score or probability column used in continuous-score mode.
  7. Set Reference Standard Column (Required): Binary ground-truth column.
  8. Set Reference Positive Label (Required): Value in the reference column that counts as condition-positive.
  9. Set Stratification Column (Optional) (Optional): Optional subgroup column for stratum-level diagnostic summaries.
  10. Set Significance Level (alpha) (Required): Controls the confidence interval width for diagnostic proportions.
  11. Review optional or advanced settings and keep defaults unless your design requires a change.
  12. Run the tool, inspect warnings and diagnostics, then save or export the result with its assumptions.

How to interpret results

Interpret results in the context of preprocessing, tuning choices, stability, validation, and domain knowledge. Complex outputs are sensitive to assumptions and should be checked with alternative specifications.
