When to use it
Use this tool to prepare survey exports, combine them with approved reference data, or analyze structured and open-ended field responses.
Use it only when the selected variables and study design match the method's requirements.
How to use it
- Open the tool from the Qantly Tools panel.
- Confirm the active dataset and analysis session.
- Set Row label column (Required): Column identifying each row in the output (e.g. facility name).
- Set Metric columns to combine (Required): Numeric columns to include in the index.
- Set Weights (JSON object, column -> weight) (Optional): e.g. {"linac_count": 0.3, "oncologists_count": 0.15}. Columns not in metric_columns are ignored. Weights need not sum to 1 (they are normalized automatically).
- Review optional or advanced settings and keep defaults unless your design requires a change.
- Run the tool, inspect warnings and diagnostics, then save or export the result with its assumptions.
How to interpret results
Review match rates, transformed values, assumptions, sample sizes, and missing responses before interpreting findings. Survey results describe the collected sample and should be considered alongside the sampling design and fieldwork context.
